Slip and Slide: High-Speed Fun at the World’s Water Parks

Summer days are long and hot. Sooner or later, everyone feels like taking a dip in some cool water. If you’re not a fan of the beach, then spending a day at a water park may be the answer. All around the world, these parks offer fun and excitement for all ages.
Water parks come in all shapes and sizes, but two of them stand out from the rest because they’re huge! The first one is Tropical Islands, the largest water park on the planet. Located in Germany, this 66,000-square-meter park has the world’s biggest indoor rain forest and Europe’s largest sauna. It also has a pool that’s almost the size of ten basketball courts.
Second in size is World Waterpark in Alberta, Canada. It contains a giant wave pool and seventeen waterslides. It even has three new thrill slides. On each one of them, guests go into a glass capsule, and then the floor beneath them drops, sending the riders on a speedy journey. One of the slides even does circles in the air before sending riders into the pool.

位於加拿大艾伯塔省的「世界水上樂園」面積居次。它有一個巨大的波浪池和十七條滑水道。它甚至有三條新的刺激水道。在其中任一條水道裡，遊客坐進玻璃膠囊中，然後他們下方的地板會向下墜落，將乘客送上高速旅程。其中一個水道在把乘客送進池子前甚至會在半空中繞圈圈。
